这是杨州八怪之一的李方膺 的一首题画诗。说的是写生画梅，要有取舍。面对一树競相开放，争奇斗妍的繁花，如何来画？别着急落笔，先要认真观察，仔细寻找最佳的角度，择其三两枝最为典型，最能体现出梅花气质神韵和画家思想情感和意趣的几枝来描绘。才能表情达意，赏心悦目。
