Dearest Friends, good news for you here, as you can see in this beautiful debut model, this beguiling Yan Yun. Craftsman Zhai, who had earlier delighted us with his Xi Shi and , has worked VERY hard to come up with this perfected Yan Yun! It is a small volume ~100ml, Xiao Mei Yao Zhu Ni ZiSha work, that emanates Oriental beauty in spades. It is such a beauty! THANK YOU CRAFTSMAN ZHAI !
The lid, the Spout, the Handle, the Main Body.
You can start admiring and appreciating from whichever part you wish first, but first, from a metre away, you observe its beauty and cohesion in whole and let it sink in first into your mind.
The spout is most amazing, with its form so exquisitely defined, sharp and smart. The spout's base is critical to its function and aesthetic beauty as well, and it speaks of the wisdom in designing this to perfection. Craftsman Zhai tells us that, he knows that this pot being of small volume, with a slender and more upright body: the spout would have to be slim and slender as well.
However, he intelligently designed and crafted in a spout base that is just slightly engorged, 1) which enables the pooling in of more tea water en route to jetting outwards, and 2) which enables the inner pushed-in-filter to be wider in area to catch more tea water! This slightly engorgement, is perfected such that aesthetically it rhymes in with the vase-like theme of the body. We know what your mind is about, Craftsman Zhai! A beautiful slender, upright Xiao Mei Yao Zhu Ni class work to adorn our tea table and bring delight during the use of it in our daily life! (The lid knob is naturally a miniature version of the whole pot, and the handle's curve reflects the body's theme as well.
Craftsman Zhai conscientiously sculpted a 手推内球孔 Hand-Pushed Spherical Filter to increase the number of filter holes for a solid and fast pour of tea out, working with the largish diameter spout; and with better catching of tea leaves at the bottom fast while allowing tea to flow out from the upper holes.)

Skilful Craftsman Zhai Yi Yao 翟一耀 has officially joined up with Craftsman Wang Xing and us taking care of all the Zhu Ni Zi Sha Works from June 2024 onwards! He starts off with both his Xi Shi and Li XIng for us. Zhai Yi Yao and Wang Xing are former course mates for three years at the ZiSha school. He is one with us, working alongside his long time friend Craftsman Wang Xing.

Note on our TRUE Fully-Handmade Zhu Ni pots from RealZiSha: NOT those thick-/irregular-thickness-walled ones which are actually fake "Fully-handmade ZhuNi pots" utilising the cheating new technology: "车一刀 Che Yi Dao": Such ZhuNi pots utilizing Che Yi Dao process, have been sprouting up in the market since early 2022. Che Yi Dao involves a swivelling-rotational cutter that goes around a roughly-finished ZhuNi pot to cut the outer surface into a perfect shape. This cutter obliviates the need of accomplished skill of a true Fully-Handmaking Craftsman. Obviously, Che Yi Dao also absolves the need of a skilled FHM Craftsman to 1)pound the slab into a careful thin-slab, 2)paddle-pat the slab into a uniform shape purely manually.
