Own a piece that is a Classic, painstakingly and deftly crafted, and using red Jiang Po Ni.
Craftsman Wan Jia Lin 万佳琳 also joins us at RealZisha, with her introduction of this Red Jiang Po Ni Work! We are happy to work with her. She is also Craftsman Chen Fa Chu's friend and we are growing in strength. She will be working hard on great ZiSha works for all of us to own and savour.
This is her Jing Zhou Shuang Quan 景舟双圈。
This shape, Jing Zhou Shuang Quan, meaning Jing Zhou's Twin Rings, is famously created fifty years ago by the maestro, Gu Jing Zhou. As with Legend Gu's creations, the Art is Austere, Extremely Understated, and Substantial all at the same time.
Craftsman Wan puts her skills to the test and also, utilised red jiang po ni 红降坡泥 here for this superb classic.
Here you savour:
1. The two perfect rings with detailed sculpting, wound through the lid knob carefully, before being carefully sat down for firing. This piece is the only successful one she brings out from the kiln.
2. The most difficult Lid-To-Body interface: the Qian Gai 嵌盖 interface, whereby, the lid sits INSET, onto the lid body. Here please bring to mind that: RED Jiang Po Ni has a higher innate percentage of Hong Ni within, and this introduces a higher degree of shrinkage compared to the yellow Jiang Po Ni, Zi Ni and other types of Duan Ni.
TO get the Qian Gai RIGHT (for a high shrinkage clay) after firing, IS DIFFICULT.
Two weeks of her diligence. Only one cherished piece from her admirable efforts.
Classic Gu Jing Zhou's creation, and extremely difficult to get right with the Twin Rings through the narrow allowance, and, the Qian Gai interface design. Savour this piece, this is a great treasure piece to own.

Also to be cherished and witnessed in this ZiSha Work, you observe: besides the usual important, critical and beautiful hallmarks of a Fully-Handmade ZiSha pot, this pot has the discontinuous and roughly horizontal marks evident on the inner walls, and these are called the: 泥凳纹 Ni Deng Wen, which are the marks left on the clay slab, complementary to the marks on the workbench of the Craftsman Wan. During the making of FHM ZiSha pots, the Craftsmen will be using tools to cut the clay slabs, etc, and these cutting strokes will leave marks on the studio workbench. Especially the first major forceful cut across the table to delineate the clay she/he wants to utilize to form the main body of the body. Thus when the craftsman subsequently pound the clay slab on the workbench, these marks will be etched onto the clay slab. Thus you are "enjoying" the additional natural hallmarks of a Fully-Handmade pot. Even a partially handmade pot will not show these marks. And those fake, those Jigger-machined pots may show CONCENTRIC continuous circular lines, usually all parallel to one another, and extremely uniform.
Very nice and usable teapot, fully handmade and pouring is excelletn
I would like to say thank you to Yi-Lei and Ian for making my delivery smooth and worry-free. This Shui Ping is exactly as described on the website, so of course, hats off to Craftsman Li Qui Lin for this beautifully made teapot.
My wife and I will definitely buy more from RealZisha.
I just received this stunning teapot, and the craftsmanship is flawless.
The clay has such a rich, warm tone and a gorgeous natural texture that I already know is going to season beautifully over time. The lines of the classic Rong Tian shape are perfectly balanced—it feels substantial yet completely natural and comfortable in the hand. The lid fit is seamless, and the pour is remarkably smooth and steady.
It's a perfect blend of tradition and functional artistry, and I can't wait to see how the clay evolves with every session.
