Video and Paper Certification with Senior Consummate Master Artist Lu Xue Feng, 高级技艺师 - 路学峰 for every Artwork of his procured.
Congratulations to an esteemed collector from North Wales.
This is sold to him on the 26th March 2022.
I was delighted when I received this pot from Jeff and Ian of REALZISHA.COM! It was beautifully packed and arrived safely all the way from Singapore to the UK in a matter of days.
The pot, called Fāng Yù, is everything I was hoping it would be. It is a work by the Level 2A master, Lù Xué Fēng, the clay is qīng duàn (a lovely olive green duànní that has attractive yellow speckles all over it), and the capacity is 330 ml. From a functional point of view, the pot is a pleasure to use: it pours beautifully and the lid fits absolutely perfectly. The handle is also very comfortable to hold. Having said that, all of these things are only to be expected from such a consummate master. What really stood out to me the instant I saw the pot, however, was how it looked aesthetically. In my opinion, it has perfect balance and proportion, and there is a certain archaic nobility to its form. It is this that raises the pot above mere function. For me, this is a work of great artistic design.
It is entirely thanks to Ian and Jeff that such works by Master Lù and others are made available to people in the west. Not only do they offer direct access to recognised, accredited artists, they also offer unlimited knowledge and guidance which they provide with great kindness and generosity. I have complete trust in REALZISHA.COM and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone interested in this art form.

Very happy with my purchase. This teapot is beautifully crafted and really enhances the flavour profile of the pu'er I have prepared using it. Thanks!
Another great achievement from the studios of the Realzisha potters. I like how the basic design is transcended by the delicacy of the craftsmanship. A fast pourer, this little pot is flawless and one can truly appreciate the delicacy of the details (the lid's inner rim, the handle, the end of the spout...). The color of clay has a lot of character and depth and is both smooth and textured to the touch. Once again, I am very pleased with this seemingly unassuming but actually spectacular teaware. Congrats to the artist !
It is the first Shui Ping I bought : this classic austere shape always seemed to me a bit plain, but this piece is a fine example of why its appeal can be so strong. The details (the spout, the handle, the lid) are very refined and it gives a slender profile to the pot, enhancing the experience, along with the cristal like chime given by the firing. The pour is great and precise and it is a very handy tea ware to use. The clay works great with my dancongs. Many thanks !
I am very pleased with this pot : its apparent sturdiness is deceiving because when you handle it, it looks and feels light, elegant, refined. The firing is excellent, with the clay producing a high pitched chime, which adds to the pleasure of the experience. Most of all, it brews great tea with young and semi-aged pu-erh. I feel fortunate to have gotten one of the few models made with the cute Tai Hu Shi knob. Many thanks and congratulations to Chen Gui Zhi for her masterful work !
Not only does it look beautiful, it feels beautiful in the hand, and brews some incredible tea. I’m sure this will be the first of many pots I purchase from this store, 100% worth the price.
