This pot has the discontinuous and roughly horizontal marks in the inner walls, and these are called the: 泥凳纹 Ni Deng Wen, which are the marks left on the clay slab , complementary to the marks on the workbench of the Craftsman. During the making of FHM ZiSha pots, the Craftladies and Craftsmen will be using tools to cut the clay slabs, etc, and these leave marks on the studio workbench. Especially the first major forceful cut across the table to delineate the clay she/he wants to utilize to form the main body of the body. Thus when the craftsman subsequently pound the clay slab on the workbench, these marks will be etched onto the clay slab! Thus you are "enjoying" the additional natural hallmarks of a Fully-Handmade pot. Even a partially handmade pot will not show these marks. And those cheating Jigger-machined pots may show CONCENTRIC circular lines, usually all parallel to one another, and extremely uniform.
Again, do cherish and have fun admiring the discontinuous, roughly horizontal lines on your pot's inner walls, are called, the 泥凳纹 Ni Deng Wen "Workbench Lines/Marks" 😊🌿🎋
wauw.. i like this teapot very much. It’s beautiful made, sturdy yet very delicate. I really love the little bird and when looking at the beautiful yellow of the clay, this pot makes me really happy. I tried it with black Earl grey tea and it delivers great. The high and fresh notes of the bergamot are highlighted. I am really happy with my purchase. My first polygonal teapot. Thank you team RealZisha for making yet another smooth purchase and thank you craftsman Fang Shi for this beautiful work of art.
The pot is beautifully crafted and has been a wonderful enhancement to my tea experience.
I am very happy about this pot. The shape is perfect, the look, smell and feel of the di cao qing are just right, the pour is fast and the lid is tight. Not a single drop is spilled. I expected nothing less but only after a couple of sheng brews I must admit that the completeness really sunk in. This pot exceeds my expectations. Thank you craftsman Gu Xiao Ming! Also, too few people mention the beautiful box the pot comes in as a final touch. Highly recommended
Excellent teapot. This rare Zhu Sha has a distinct, high-granularity texture and great thermal stability. It performs very well with high-end Gushu (like Guafengzhai Chawangshu, Bingdao, and high-altitude Yiwu), preserving the aroma while adding depth to the body. The craftsmanship by Gu Xiao Ming is precise, with a clean and balanced pour. A solid addition to the collection.
This is my first RealZisha purchase and my first yixing purchase. An experienced tea friend recommended the site. The pot arrived ahead of schedule in beautiful, secure packaging. It was a wonderful experience.
