We have already seen how Master Li Yan Ru professes, specialises and "owns!", the hugely onerous COMBINATION Segmental-Corollary PLUS Overhead Top Handle Class works. Her Designs are not just pushing Senior Artists and Research Level Artists, they are winning multiple awards! Totally Understandable for her virtuoso skills honed from many years of hard work and learning since young.
This is her new creation, the Gao Jing Yun Lu Hu, self-styled and newly launch here at RealZiSha for the lucky first owner!
《高颈云炉壶》"Gao Jing Yun Lu Hu"

238.8ml work for the occasions, serving two to four people at a seating.
Enormous Presence, Oriental Charm and Most Importantly:
THAT DIRECT POUR forté of this pot!
Outstanding pour, aims, cut~release~cut~, elegant and very handy all at the same time! ORIGINAL Design, and Crafted by dear Consummate Master Li Yan Ru!

Master Li's brilliant design this is! Master Li explains,
Firstly, note FOUR aspects:
1. The Long Spout that extends a bit farther out than usual,
2. an elongated/heightened Lid Knob,
3. a big aperture that the Handle's Curve create away from the body,
4. and the rounded Nick at the bottom of the handle.
This pot is just tremendous, it is so SATISFYING TO HANDLE, TILT, AIM AND POUR!
For some Tea Masters we know, they like to serve swiftly, confidently and accurately directly onto the guests' cups, one by one!
This pot superbly allows this process to be PERFORMED, and with finesse!!!
The spout has a great sweep and a great elongated extension! 1) This allows the Tea Master to see clearly where the spout is reaching out. 2) The long spout also allows the Tea Master to maintain comfortably: a further, courteous and respectable distance from the guest (and yet aiming accurately)!

Remember those Sze Chuan style kungfu tea pouring demonstrations by the Artisan who serves tea directly into the guests' cups one by one, with a very long straight spout of slightly more than a metre? Yes, Master Li explains this pot can do almost just that!albeit in a Fully-Handmade ZiSha work, with one hand!

First the approach and easy and ergonomic fit:

If one wishes to stop the flow, one can just deftly and EASILY tilt the pulp of the thumb forward to cover the ventilation hole on top, and then when you the Tea Master moves to the next cup, you just need to tilt the thumb backwards a bit to allow the ventilation hole to be patent, air to go in, and tea to pour out!
Here: VENTILATION HOLE OPEN:

HERE, CLOSED:

OPENED again:

The lid knob is shaped for this to happen, being heightened and sizeable, so that the thumb can maintain grip at the back while tilting the front of the thumb forwards and backwards to close and open the ventilation hole!

The large aperture of the handle (for the index finger to go through) and the nick at the bottom of the handle (for the middle finger to press on) ensures a firm press and counter-press grip, SO AS TO allow the Tea Master to execute the above swinging of the spout around at various cups and to execute the minute forward and backward tilt of the thumb's pulp to open/close the ventilation hole.

5. The taller-than-width stance, allows the Tea Master to calibrate the tilt of the pot with more precision, when compared to a short pot, again facilitating this pot's forte of direct serving of tea into the Guests' cups.

Master Li sincerely hopes that the fortunate owner gets to enjoy the fruits of her labour, both design and craft, and really perform and realise this DIRECT SERVING forté of this Gao Jing Yun Lu Hu!
Thank you dearest Friends and CONGRATULATIONS in advance to the fortunate Tea Master and Owner of this new ingenious work of Master Li's creation and craft.
The Tall Neck is filled with Master Li's reverse engraving Art manifesting the likeness of Clouds: 云 Yun! This is to "elevate" both figuratively and literally :-D and hence the fitting name that Master Li prescribed: 云炉 "Yun Lu" ~ Heavenly cauldron/pot!
