Crafted by L4 Associate Master Zhang Ke 助理工艺美术师, 张轲。
This is a massive De Zhong. Created by Shao Da Heng, famed for his works like Fang Gu, Duo Zhi, Duo Qiu: all his works are best manifested when made large! We know Shao Da Heng's works are affectionately loved for their ability to exude a pompous and "BOSS" air, aura and presence! We call his works full of Ba Qi ~ "霸气!" in Chinese. Zhang Ke, spiritual successor of our Cao Family, and majoring in Austere works, mastered and crafted this Austere Art: exuberant, pompous and extremely stately, to the max! Zhang Ke majors in Austere works. This is Zhang Ke with Famous Painter Cao Tian Wen 曹天文 just today on the 31st October 2025, 4pm, afternoon. He came from Shandong and Beijing, to pick up his previously ordered pots from us, and to paint on new ones, here, the new Five Fang Gus 仿古 and one Rong Tian 容天, plus one more He Huan 合欢(not in picture), which he had commissioned from our aunt Cao Lan Fang and Zhang Ke himself.
Zhang Ke and us with National Grand Master of Ceramic Arts 国家陶瓷艺术大师, Chen Guo Liang 陈国良!!! He is our neighbour, strong Family Buddy, and came by to say hi to us!
“瓦铫煮春雪，淡香生古瓷”
出自清代高鹗的《茶》，
描写了用陶罐烹煮新茶的场景，展现了茶汤如雪、清香沁人的意境。
Born of Famous Poet Gao'E's verses in his <Tea> Collection of writings,
He describes the imagery of making tea,
The Tea steeped appeals to the senses as if it is Snow,
Refreshing our heart and minds!
The Qing Gong Tu 清贡图, chosen by Zhang Ke, is engraved, in minimalistic form, to distil the imagery to a 禅 Ch'an feeling.
Zhang Ke, being our Spiritual Successor to the Four Cao Masters: Cao Ya Lin, Cao Yan Ping, Cao An Xiang and Cao Lan Fang (Zhang Ke is Cao Lan Fang's Son), utilises naturally, our Cao Family's High Quality Di Cao Qing, here high-fired. This is also the EXACT SAME Qing Hui Duan clay 青灰段 that our uncle: ZiSha Religious Art PRIME MASTER CAO AN XIANG 曹安祥, has been using in many, many of his works, both the Incense Burners and Pots, for the temples!
