Dearest Friends, Craftsman Zhao Li Ping and Craftsman Fu Xian Qing are a pair of highly skilled ZiSha Craftsmen whose works punch above their weight. We at the Cao Family had talked to them, and have convinced them to join us in July 2024! And we will be curating together onwards, with each of them crafting a very special pot for you friends once it comes off successfully. Craftsman Fu Xian Qiang kicked off the series in July 2024 with the amazing Yuan Gan Fang 圆擀方 curved-angular version of the Ping Gai Shi Piao 平盖石瓢, swiftly procured by our Scandinavian Tea Master。 Craftsman Zhao Li Ping impressed with her Fu Hu 福壶 in August, which was snapped up within three hours of its launch as it headed to the tea table of a special VIP in Europe. And laster in October when she launched her Shi Yuan pot. Fu Xian Qiang also managed to come off with one more of the Yuan Gan Fang Ping Gai Shi Piao for another Vietnamese Professor.
Here we witness Craftsman Fu Xian Qiang indulging us with another of his exquisite finishings: the 《颂金壶》"Song Jin Hu"!
This is due in part of the skillfully crafted high raised round foot 圈足. Song is the renowned ancient man of our Chinese past, who designed the original bronze wares: 青铜器。
Craftsman Fu Xian Qiang adeptly crafted this extremely delectable Song Jin pot, taking after such an important part of our Chinese history. Superb execution and craftsmanship.
Despite looking massive, it holds in total a fluid volume of 186ml due to the skillfully crafted high raised foot.
