Dearest Friends, this is a Zi Ni cup, Fully-Handcrafted by L3A Consummate Master Artist Li Yan Ru 李艳如 which she hopes will find a lovely home!
Master Li chose this clay for specific high temperature firing, at 1350degC for the texture and colour that she wishes to attain in this application with the Clay Sculpting: Clay Sculpting of Plum Blossoms Flowers blossoming as the winter season comes to an end, and the promise of hopes surface in Spring.
Master Li determined the clay sculpting as what she witnessed in the First Month of this Chinese New Year :-D : speckles of snow on the Plum Blossoms flowers, which are now welcoming the coming of Spring. Delightfully lovely. Borne of Master Li's artistic direction, from Clay choice to Crafting, Firing and Clay Sculpting.

Master Li has consistently orders coming through for her Austere works ever since she has been working with us in China since 2018, and her international debut with us in mid-2024 which showcased three of her signature and award-winning Segmental-Corollary ZiSha works. The fourth and highly proclaimed, Segmental-Corollary ZiSha work was launched in December and was snatched up within a day. She regularly crafts Austere and Polygonal works on her own terms, and what she loves to manifest.
