YUAN GAN FANG 圆擀方 is almost a class by itself, for it entails the patting of a ROUND Clay Slab (just like an Austere work) -> into -> a Polygonal work!
For the casual purveyors, this may seem an outright Polygonal work, but this Yuan Gan Fang extracts a separate and immensely: deft and precise skill set of a Polygonal Artist.
You can see that there is no joining seams between the six sides, but rather, a continuity of all six sides except at the back: where the "usual" joining seam of an Austere work lies!

"春江潮水连海平，海上明月共潮生。

The poet depicts the tranquil and vivid scenery of the spring river at night. The poet inserts the character "life" to immediate elevate and endow the moon to be looked upon with rich feelings and the tide with a lively vitality, creating a mythical and beautiful realm with delicate strokes of wisely chosen Chinese characters.

Senior Consummate Master Yuan Hui also revealed and announced to the recent RealZiSha Hospitality tour group on the 25th May 2025, that he would ascend to the L1 Research Level Master come just next year 2026.

He does POLYGONAL/ANGULAR DAO JIAO 倒角 on the edges here  even at the spout, VERY FINELY:
