Dearest Friends, as we write here on the 8th Feb 2026, yes! our dearest Ornate Prodigy Zhang Xue Lei is back with works for you, after his recent nine months of gruelling work:
- crafting supremely exquisite Ornate works for several patrons which you have seen,
- and during this nine months, he has also been concurrently learning the Thin-Walled technique from none other than, National Grand Master of Ceramic Arts, Chen Guo Liang!who also trained Zhang Ke and now also training Senior Consummate Master Yuan Hui!

Now, Assoc Master Zhang Xue Lei has perfected the Savoir-Faire of Thin-Walled ZiSha construction, he has encompassed that into his debut series of Fine Art, Minimalistic Ornate, Small Volume, Thin-Walled Ornate Works to be launched these few months as each come through the kiln about once a month!  Each a totem and emblematic of one's esteemed ZiSha collection of all classes of ZiSha, Austere, Polygonal, Ornate, Segment-Corollary and Top Handles, each a collectable in view of Zhang Xue Lei’s prodigious credentials and upward trajectory in our fraternity!  We are very happy to hereby, launch the first of his World Debut Series!
Working with him closely to further endow you dearest Friends of our RealZiSha family, and for auspicious reasons, he says to proudly present this world debut series with Golden Duan Ni as the clay of choice!
This First Work is named《佳茗》"Jia Ming"!
He crafted it to be a sweet Bamboo Ornate work AND also the form of a Hun Fang 混方器 ~ Curved Polygonal class work, and sporting a very tight Qian Gai interface!  He avails this at only $950!!
Being of our RealZiSha Family and our Cao Family, it is also presented in our bespoke Fine Casework for the fortunate Owner!
As Zhang Xue Lei always say, "I will never let a work that I cannot be 1000% proud of, leave my studio."

Beyond Zhang Xue Lei's larger works according to our patrons' requests in China, Zhang has also started crafting these smaller pieces, that are PERFECTLY RIGHT on the usable volumes for gungfu steepings for one to two persons.  Primed to suit many people's request for something usable for one, two people's tea savouring session, more austere looking, still bearing his trademark savoir-faire, ingenuity and intricacy, showcasing his skills in a precious Ornate work worthy in future of Museum standards and donations.

For all our esteemed Patrons' information, Zhang Xue Lei only crafts Ornate works 花器.  He does not craft 光器Austere (e.g. Xi Shi, Fang Gu)/ 方器 Polygonal/ 筋囊器 Segmental-Corollary works for sale.  If you Google and trawl the net, and you find Austere/pure Polygonal/Segmental-Corollary pots "made by Zhang Xue Lei" sold by other retailers, they are all false.  Even if these pots bear "his stamp", they are not his works.  Avoid.  They are all duds (jigger-machined pots or half-handmade factory-line products stamped with Counterfeit Stamps).  And such stamps and certificates from these retailers are faked.  Such Chinese sites of bogus retailers are ubiquitous.  If they are prevalent in China, imagine all the cookie-cut sites in English language currently online and designed to dupe the Westerners.  With AI, such sites can be drafted up really fast, and many retailers cookie-cut and paste photos from Taobao, where they get their central source jigger-machined pots from.  These sources have centralised photo-taking by the sourcing factory, and then distributed to their retailers.

Again, we reiterate, Zhang Xue Lei does not craft Austere/Polygonal/Segmental-Corollary pots for sale.  He only crafts Ornate Class works, and he only avails them with us at RealZiSha.

Imitation is the best form of flattery/acknowledgement.
