We meet all of you friends at Hong Qiao HSR station at 1:30pm.
We help you friends purchase the High Speed Rail tickets (inclusive in your $500) so that we travel in a group to YiXing,
2... We bring you via High Speed Rail past Nanjing/Hangzhou and then onwards to YiXing,
3... Reach YiXing ETA: 4pm.
Our arranged transport by our family cars/DiDi cars for all of you friends to the comfortable YiXing Purple Clay Hotel stay for the next three nights!
4...Check in to YiXing (Ding Shu) Purple Clay Hotel by 4:45pm.
Quick Rest & Relax, wash up and ready for dinner!

Let us treat you friends to a sumptuous dinner at any of the numerous local restaurants serving up cuisines from with our local YiXing Organic Farms.

Our studio/showcase "Jing Tang She 镜塘社" in central Ding Shu 丁蜀镇, where we all have tea together!
Having tea, chatting, understanding one another's tea journeys, between all of you on this common tea journey!
We will serve any teas you like, and definitely would pamper all of you with YiXing famous Hong Chas (Black Tea) together, and of course any Pu Er or Oolong, etc you desire. Zhang Ke and Cao Lan Fang steep for you! We do not sell tea, but we have gathered a great list of teas from tea merchants who supply us with complimentary teas throughout the years (and we choose from amongst them). These tea merchants have been ordering bespoke commissioned works from Cao Lan Fang for the past twenty to thirty years. Old friends. Familiar teas.
Thus 6pm onwards: Free & Easy at the Hotel, or spend time together at Jing Tang She showcase with everybody!

Visit to Huang Long Shan Mine area (structured walk through various mine entrances of the past, fully opened since 1st Oct 2024).
11:30am-1pm:
Visit to Grand Master Shao Shun Sheng’s Museum! Grand Master Shao is always full of vibrant energy and he is also a natural host for events. He is the 6th Generation Direct Descendant of the legendary figure: Shao Da Heng. We are all honoured to be in his presence.
1:30 - 2:30pm Lunch:
Local eateries, Crab Roe Dumplings, Noodles, the list is endless. We give you choices on the ground!
3pm - 4:30pm:
Visit to YiXing Ceramics Museum 宜兴陶瓷博物馆。
4:45pm - 6pm:
Visit to Historical Ding Shu Nan Jie 丁蜀南街 (“Ding Shu South Street”) and Historical Shu Shan 蜀山 (“Shu Hill”). We walk through the birthplace of ZiSha Crafting in the Ming Dynasty, where ZiSha Artists had lived and crafted pots. Ding Shu South Street still maintained the buildings which are the old abodes of legends Gu Jing Zhou, Mao Shun Xing, Gu Shao Pei, Xu Han Tang, Ren Gan Ting, Wu Yun Gen.
We also have a walk up and down Shu Shan hill (won’t be tiring, we promise!).
This is the exact location area where Ming, Qing ZiSha Artists had thrived.
Live the aura where Crafting of the most difficult Ceramic Art on Earth was born, and lived continuously to this day!

Visit to Various types of kiln, including: Gas-Fire Kiln, Electric Kiln, Wood-Fire Kiln, Dragon Kiln.

Visit to National Grand Master of The Arts, Cao Ya Lin, and his Museum. Browse through his entire collection and chat with him!
3:15-4:30pm:
Visit to World’s Premier Zi Sha Xiang Lu (Religious Forms) Master, Cao An Xiang and his Museum. Have tea with him and experience mega-sized Zi Sha forms and receptacles pioneered and made famous by him!
5 - 6pm:
Dinner.

This is not the casual, flippant DIY 1 hour crafting hands-on catered by some shops along popular tourist traps in Ding Shu Nan Jie.
This is real professional crafting, for professional crafters and serious hobbyists eager to learn in their journey, crafting with ZiSha. Our head Craftsman Yi Xiao Ran and various Artists will be here with you :-D !!!
$1,100 per Crafter participant, for an organised class of fifteen to start. Let your hands and eyes exercise to the full!
Definitely, you, at your local Ceramics/Pottery professional and/or hobby groups, may form up anything from 7 to 20 pax. Any bigger group, we are able to expand the venue comfortably as well.
Many of you may be coming alone, or in twos, or that your group can't reach seven participants.
We will team everybody up for the class, don't worry at all.

We will meet all of you participants on the 18th 1:30pm at the Shanghai Hong Qiao High Speed Rail station and purchase the tickets for all of you. We bring you friends and travel together to YiXing, reaching YiXing at about 4pm, and then arrange transport to drive all of you to YiXing DingShu town where you may have your own accommodation plans, or should you wish for us to help book hotel stays for you, see below>.

We can book for you at a discounted rate due to our Cao Family’s connection with the hotel, would be at $300 for 5 nights stay:

This packaged hotel stay would also include daily international buffet breakfasts.
The Deluxe hotel rooms are very big, luxurious and comfortable, toilet has central make-up/wash sink with shower room left and bath tub on the right. Rest assured, you will be pampered by the amenities and comfort.
After the lessons on the 23rd May, and graduating :-D at 4:15pm! We will arrange the transport for you to reach YiXing HSR station within 10-30minutes depending on traffic conditions, where there are trains that set off from YiXing HSR station (anytime between 6pm to 9pm) and on to Shanghai/Hangzhou/Nanjing. Rest assured, you will be able to secure trains to Shanghai/Hangzhou/Nanjing. We can help you friends with the booking a few days prior. Rest assured on the 23rd night you can be in Shanghai/Nanjing/Hangzhou!
