This is Chen Fa Chu's brand new shape, the Xian Piao.
Here he took extreme time to SLOWLY craft the protruding lines AROUND the lid knob, and the main handle. Xian Piao also combines these detailed and functional lines, with the wholesome beauty of Jing Zhou Shi Piao: the body girth and width, beautifully coaxed and crafted curved body side wall CONTINUING with the delectable slight convex curved base! The "Wei Qi" Zi chess piece motif-ed three feet. The strong pour of the Shi Piao with its signature spout design, a constant with all Chen Fa Chu's Shi Piaos.
He uses, of course, his great quality DiCaoQing from Huang Long Shan as with all his pots. Also, savor the beautiful patina formation and changes as you steep tea with all his ZiSha works.
Excellent ergonomics:
Holding, handling and lifting the lid knob is a breeze, Decisive grip and ample distance from the hot vapors arising from the ventilating hole
Excellent GRIP on the handle. A breeze to use.
Decisive, easy and quick grip and lift off of pot. Grip interface supremely heightened between thumb-and-index finger, plus grip between index finger-and-middle finger. A breeze to use.
Beautiful pot, fantastic workmanship. Better than I expected. The pictures don't do it justice.

Another great achievement from the studios of the Realzisha potters. I like how the basic design is transcended by the delicacy of the craftsmanship. A fast pourer, this little pot is flawless and one can truly appreciate the delicacy of the details (the lid's inner rim, the handle, the end of the spout...). The color of clay has a lot of character and depth and is both smooth and textured to the touch. Once again, I am very pleased with this seemingly unassuming but actually spectacular teaware. Congrats to the artist !
It is the first Shui Ping I bought : this classic austere shape always seemed to me a bit plain, but this piece is a fine example of why its appeal can be so strong. The details (the spout, the handle, the lid) are very refined and it gives a slender profile to the pot, enhancing the experience, along with the cristal like chime given by the firing. The pour is great and precise and it is a very handy tea ware to use. The clay works great with my dancongs. Many thanks !
I am very pleased with this pot : its apparent sturdiness is deceiving because when you handle it, it looks and feels light, elegant, refined. The firing is excellent, with the clay producing a high pitched chime, which adds to the pleasure of the experience. Most of all, it brews great tea with young and semi-aged pu-erh. I feel fortunate to have gotten one of the few models made with the cute Tai Hu Shi knob. Many thanks and congratulations to Chen Gui Zhi for her masterful work !
Not only does it look beautiful, it feels beautiful in the hand, and brews some incredible tea. I’m sure this will be the first of many pots I purchase from this store, 100% worth the price.
I'm stunned by the beauty of this pot and honored to have and use it! The craftsmanship is amazing and the clay is fantastic! Highly recommend!
