Commissioned work for Esteemed Mr Engel: Assoc Master Zhang Xue Lei's World Debut Ornate ZiSha Work Taking After The Bristlecone Pine of North America.
Mr Engel left it to Assoc Master Zhang to choose the ZiSha clay according to his artistic direction.
Volume to be between 400ml to 600ml according to Assoc Master Zhang's artistic direction and what is feasible.

Assoc Master Zhang's conceptualisation, savoir-faire and skills are bewildering.

Mr Engel commissioned Assoc Master Zhang Xue Lei to craft this World Debut Ornate ZiSha Work Taking After The Bristlecone Pine of North America.
Mr Engel wished for Assoc Master Zhang Xue Lei to embark on this onerous task of crafting a full TOTALLY NEW TREE SPECIES Ornate work (NEVER DONE IN OUR ZISHA FRATERNITY BEFORE, as our ZiSha fraternity have always take to Ornate Bamboo stumps 竹, Chinese Pine stumps 松 and Plum Blossoms 梅).
Mr Engel's wish is for Assoc Master Zhang Xue Lei to create a totally new Tree Stump species, and not only new, but extremely difficult: taking after the intricacies of the COMPLEX tree that is known as "The Methuselah", the Bristlecone Pine of North America.
Mr Engel sent these photos for Assoc Master Zhang to take reference from, and Assoc Master Zhang Xue Lei after three months of immense work, managed to internalise, conceptualise and execute this ZiSha commission with flying colors!!!
