《清月虚扁》"Qing Yue Xu Bian", Xiao Mei Yao Zhu Ni 小煤窑朱泥, 95.0ml, Crafted by L3A Consummate Master Artist Li Yan Ru 李艳如 ~!CONGRATULATIONS!!TO MR R.K.! 0716hrs 25th October 2026, Bali! Indonesia🇮🇩!
《清月虚扁》"Qing Yue Qiu Shui ~ Autumn Stream"
Consummate Master Li Yan Ru 李艳如 has designed and created this new design, a svelte adaptation of the Ming Yuan Xu Bian 鸣远虚扁! This, for your Finest hour with your Oolong, Green and White Teas, and at many people's perfect Gungfu steeping volume of between 90 ~ 110ml.
She is very elated to bring this finally to all of you, after all the design, trial and errors, and firing attempts, and here in Xiao Mei Yao Zhu Ni! Yes all the effort just for one treasured piece.
She fashions a sweeping, broad-stroke silhouette line to the dome, as she feels that incorporating this instead of the usual stepped or hunched silhouette line of the Ming Yuan Xu Bian, would give it a sweeping, expansive and spacious outlook, aura and air.
She asks that we study it, that it looks visually IMPOSING, sharp and handsome, when perched atop on a high cabinet.
When looking squarely, horizontally across, it looks clean, sleek, dynamically angular yet smooth.
She expands on Ming Yuan Xu Bian's trait: a flat-shaped model that is lower-volumed but which will generate the most visual presence and real estate on the tea table. She wants it to look beautiful as a teapot, unmistakably of YiXing ZiSha aesthetic, yet sumptously roomy, generous and welcoming when in use on your tea table. Fortunate Tea Master upon its receipt, do use it and do so during a video call with Consummate Master Li! She will be very keen to thank you and catch up with you!
Master Li ALSO explains that the original Ming Yuan Xu Bian inherently has difficult concaved-in inner wall that will be difficult to clean off, and in her artistic direction, she enables the inner side walls to be ALL WITHIN VISUAL INSPECTION and all EASILY WASHED OFF OF ANY TEA DEBRIS:
YES :-D it will be an absolute breeze to rinse and clean properly after each tea session!
The Xu Bian design has a narrow space at the outflow region to the spout, and the ancient single-hole is used, with the provision of the stainless-steel inert holding filter.
Master Li will provide five additional stainless steel holding filters together with this procurement, in case of the occasional loss of one. Master Li understands and will support fully.
Photo taking under two spotlights, hence always casting two distinct reflective lines left of centre on the lid and on the protruding "stomach" of the main body, and right of centre on the lid and on the protruding "stomach" of the main body, while sparing the central spot casting a shadow. Artists convey their appreciation of your understanding, that this shadow in the centre with two bright reflective regions on the side, would not be misconstrued as any unevenness nor "un-roundness" of the lid and body.
Thank you dearest Friends for your kind attention :-D
