《茄瓜》"Qie Gua"
Fine Art again, from the brains and extremely adroit hands of a Consummate Master prodigy!
Masterful Master Li with her superb artistic direction and savoir-faire, created her own very Qie Gua! Not content with a normal stalk with a "simple" with the usual the ventilation hole, with the typical circular 3mm diameter, Master Li executes what her inventive mind has: the lid knob, while still the stalk of the Qie Gua fruit, it takes its form as an ORGANIC STALK with ragged edges that open into a cavernous cave, welcoming the hot vapours that emit as you close the lid on the hot tea steeping below! The way the rising vapours emanate sideways off and upwards!
Supremely stable and satisfying AND surprisingly easy to handle! Outstanding jet pour. Reassuring and masterful operation, every time!
Masterful strokes by Master Li at the handle as well: she wanted the handle to be slim, not flamboyant and not drawing attention to itself. Yet Master Li infuses it with supreme finesse born from her skills and steady hands as a Segmental-Corollary prodigy: THE HANDLE IS ACTUALLY THE INTERTWINING VINES OF FOUR! Despite the handle being formed from one strip of slim clay, Master Li crafts it to the point whereby it looks like the twirling together of FOUR separate stems!

Master Li has consistently orders coming through for her Austere works ever since she has been working with us in China since 2018, and her international debut with us in mid-2024 which showcased three of her signature and award-winning Segmental-Corollary ZiSha works. The fourth and highly proclaimed, Segmental-Corollary ZiSha work was launched in December and was snatched up within a day. She regularly crafts Austere and Polygonal works on her own terms, and what she loves to manifest.
