岳 ~ Alp, Mountain,
Denotes the Alps, as Master Li wants this piece to emulate the skywards, upwards-reaching stance of this work. She designs the main body with a sharp gradient of 85degrees upwards, followed by the shoulder-lid interface and the lid knob continuing this 85degrees gradient.
The lid knob represents the peak of the Mountain, very carefully and beautifully sculpted by Master Li!
藏香 ~ Fountain of Tea Fragrance
as she wishes this Alp of a work, to be your daily haven emanating the Fragrance of the teas you steep in!
Master Li also chose from our Cao Family, our Bao Shan Lao Zi Ni of 30 Sieve Count, prepared by our uncle Zhang Yun Long, and also fired by Zhang Yun Long.
Master Li went through with uncle Zhang and CHOSE THIS CLAY because of its solemn deep brown colour and the LOW Sieve Count of 30, as the dark deep brown colour of the high-fired Bao Shan Lao Zi Ni combined with the granular texture of the Sieve Count 30k clay will BEST emulate the rocky mountain ranges and alps.

Polygonal Class work, hexagonal form.
Master Li carefully lays the equatorial band along the whole hexagon.
Despite it being a low sieve count clay, Master Li deftly shapes and crafts very carefully, the swerving, graceful spout, hexagonal in all cross-sections along its way!! Thank you Master Li!
The handle, another work of diligence, hexagonal again in all cross-section along its length, and with a Fly feature 飞把 to discreetly add a hint of dynamism.
The handle, lovely in form, and ergonomic in function:
Ladies can use TWO fingers to loop through if it the pot is too heavy loaded with tea water,
Master Li also, just like Senior Master Yuan Hui, diligently and EXTENSIVELY crafts in this POLYGONAL work: the edge-chamferring DAO JIAO 倒角 work: yes! the detailing we have come to thoroughly and luxuriously, enjoy from her previous Polygonal class works too, e.g. the Zang Liu Fang 藏六方, and the Liu Fang Gu Ting 六方古亭。
Here at all the six edges and six corners of the opening at the top, her 45degree-1mm Dao Jiao 倒角 detailing at outer and inner facets:

Master Li does not spare the lid, as she continues the Dao Jiao 45degree-1mm chamfering at the lid,
BOTH AT THE OUTER FACET AND AT THE INNER FACETS!
