first piece of Si Fang Bo Gu crafted by Senior Master Yuan Hui, and he brought it to Master Yi Dian for the engraving of both sides.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cimg alt=\"\" Master Yuan Hui had to totally re-craft another new piece of Si Fang Bo Gu and bring this second piece to Master Yi Dian for total ground-up engraving again.\u003cbr\u003eThe Second Piece is successful.  However the lid cracked.  Yuan Hui had to recraft many lids again to make sure one fits eventually.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"\u003eThis Successful piece came after ten months' of designing, measurements, preparation of tools, first few pieces of trial-and-error of the largish Si Fang Bo Gu by Yuan Hui.  Yi Dian had to look at the Gameplay BMW and observe how best to engrave The Great Sage and examining all the fine details.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003eEngraving is DIFFERENT from painting, whereby in painting, the painter can manifest and express various depths.  However engraving is on 2-dimensional plan, and to Engraving Artists, it is difficult to translate the appearance of a painting expressing various depths, into an engraved ZiSha slab.  \u003cbr\u003eEngraving Artist has to decipher all the details and plan properly, and every part has to be engraved with the right degree of strength, width, sharpness or bluntness.  It has to look beautiful in its eventuality, making full use of the interplay of light and shadows, to express the Art.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cimg
